The president of the La Crosse Area Chamber of Commerce has resigned.
The Board of Directors of the chamber of commerce accepted Dick Granchalek's resignation on March 26 "with gratitude for his service."
Granchalek has served as the president for more than 12 years. He will help the Board of Directors search for a new president.
"Prior to his arrival, the La Crosse Chamber was in a precarious financial position," said Board Chair David Booth. "Through Dick's diligence and hard work, today’s Chamber of Commerce is financially healthy with exciting potential for growth. As chamber president, Dick was a strong advocate for La Crosse's business community and took great pride in the economic vitality and progressiveness of the Coulee Region."
