LHI chief says company on track for growth
Logistics Health Incorporated (LHI) has won a 5-year contract with the U.S. Department of Defense worth up to $749 million.
The company will continue to provide medical and dental services through the federal Reserve Health Readiness Program.
"It has been a deep honor for our people to serve the health needs of the brave men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces, and with this award we are grateful that we will be able to continue delivering on our commitment to them," Larry Renfro, CEO of Optum said in a statement.
The company was acquired in 2011 by OptumHealth of Golden Valley, Minn., which is part of health care giant UnitedHealth Group of Minnetonka, Minn.
