CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (AP) -

Police have charged a Cedar Rapids teenager with two counts of vehicular homicide in connection with a wrong-way crash that killed a woman.

The Gazette reports the case against 17-year-old Chase Goers was recently transferred from juvenile court to adult court.

Court documents show Goers drove the wrong way on Interstate 380 on Nov. 18. He collided head-on with a northbound car driven by Kelley McLaren, of Marion. The 25-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene and Goers was seriously injured.

Authorities say Goers' blood alcohol content was nearly twice the legal limit to drive.

The newspaper reports additional information about Goers' medical condition was not available.

Court records do not list an attorney for Goers.
