Iowa driver gets traffic citation in fatal crash

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) -

A 42-year-old man has been given a traffic citation for his actions in a fatal Des Moines collision.

The Des Moines Register reports that Matthew Rodine, of Des Moines, was given a citation for failure to yield. Online court records don't list the name of his attorney.

Police say Rodine was driving a sport utility vehicle on the afternoon of Nov. 10 when he attempted to turn left but collided with an oncoming motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was 38-year-old Bradford Clikeman. Authorities say Clikeman died two days later at a hospital.
