A new report is showing improvement in efforts to
reduce homelessness in Wisconsin.
Figures from the U-S Department of Housing and Urban
Development show that homelessness in Wisconsin declined
by more than double the national rate in 20-16.
The number is down more than 6 percent from a year
Goverment officials say homelessness in Wisconsin
has dropped about 62 percent since 20-10.
They say that's in large part due to the success of
city programs aimed to reduce chronic homelessness.
