Here's a sign that the holiday season is right around the corner.
On Friday, staff from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and the Conservation Corps of Minnesota will harvest a 65-foot spruce tree in the Chengwatana State Forest near Pine City. The tree is headed for the governor's official residence in St. Paul.
KNSI radio says the holiday tree will be set up at the governor's residence Monday morning. Last year's tree also came from the Chengwatana State Forest.
