LA CROSSE, Wis. -

A new initiative in La Crosse helps with your unwanted holiday clutter.

Habitat for Humanity is helping recycle your old or unwanted holiday lights.

You can drop them off at the Restore Store during regular business hours and Habitat will re-purpose everything they can. "You're keeping them out of the landfill, there are usable elements in the lights that can be salvaged and repurposed into new wire and new lights down the line," said Restore Manger Steve Baker.

Proceeds from recycling the lights is used to help low income families in our community.
