HARCOURT, Iowa (AP) -- A Gowrie man has died in a crash in central Iowa.
The Iowa State Patrol tells The Des Moines Register 47-year-old Edward Frazier died Saturday after he lost control of his vehicle at the interchange of U.S. Highway 169 and Iowa Highway 175 and slid into a second vehicle.
Authorities say Frazier was taken to Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, where he died.
Investigators say the 32-year-old driver of the other vehicle had stopped at the entrance to a convenience store when the crash occurred shortly after 7 a.m. He was treated and released at the hospital.
