WHITEHALL, Wis. -- A Galesville man pleads not guilty to a suspected drunk driving crash that killed his brother.
30-year-old James Pederson is charged with homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle for the death of 19-year-old Dillon Pederson.
James Pederson allegedly drove drunk November 28 and rolled his vehicle into a field off of Highway 93 in the Town of Trempealeau.
At a hearing Tuesday morning, Pederson stood mute and a not guilty plea was entered for him. A judge ruled in December there is enough evidence for Pederson to stand trial.
Pederson is scheduled to appear in court in early February. He remains in the Trempealeau County Jail on a $200,000 bond.
