Free milk to be handed out in La Crosse on Tuesday

LA CROSSE, Wis. -

The Hunger Task Force of La Crosse will hand out hundreds of gallons of milk to the La Crosse community in an effort to recover dairy products from the recently closed Golden Guernsey Dairy plant in Waukesha.

A "drive thru" milk distribution will take place on Tuesday, January 22 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. or until the produce is gone at the Bridgeview Plaza, 2330 Rose St. in La Crosse.
