Farmer saves animals from Jackson County fire

BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis. -- A farmer saves his animals before weekend fire destroys a pole shed in Jackson County.

The fire started around 7:20 p.m. Saturday at N4846 Bible Road in the Township of Irving, the Black River Falls Fire Department says.

Allen Pronschinske was able to his animals out before the fire consumed the shed.

The shed, which stored baled hay and a tractor along with the animals, is a total loss.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
