ONALASKA, Wis. -- Some entertainment is headed to troops overseas and you may have helped make it happen.

Family Video stores around the nation including here in our area had a promotion running where customers could purchase a DVD to donate for troop care packages.

Operation Homefront officials picked up those DVD's Tuesday and will send them off soon.

At family video in Onalaska alone, about 500 movies were collected.  "It's our way of kind of giving back to the troops.  They're overseas fighting for us so it's our way of saying thank you," says Jessica Schmidt from Family Video in Onalaska.
