One of the inmates who walked away from a Jackson County correctional camp last year learned his fate in federal court Wednesday.

19 year old James Misleveck will spend 15 years in prison for having a stolen shotgun as a convicted felon. He pleaded guilty to the offense earlier this year.

Misleveck and fellow inmate James Newman walked away from Black River Falls Correctional Camp last July and went on a crime spree down to Florida. That included stealing a shotgun, two cars, and kidnapping a woman at gunpoint.

Newman is currently on his way back to Wisconsin.
