LA CROSSE, Wis. -- A new library with a focus on the outdoors is now open in La Crosse.
The EcoPark library celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony Monday. All of the books were donated by members of the community and are being housed at the Myrick Hixon EcoPark.
The collaboration between the EcoPark and the La Crosse Public Library features books all about nature, wildlife, sustainable lifestyles and nature education.
On top of that, visitors can enjoy beautiful views of the nearby scenery.
The Library is open to the general public for reading on-site, and EcoPark members can borrow books.
