New air pollution standards for Wisconsin are set
to be adopted after being put off for four years.
The U-S Environmental Protection Agency published
new limits on fine particulate matter in early 2013.
Wisconsin law required the D-N-R to adopt similar
but agency officials said work on the rules was going
The agency and environmental groups reached a settlement
last year that calls for the D-N-R to put the rules
The board is set to okay the rules at a meeting next
month in Madison.
