Wisconsin's representatives in Washington are joining
Governor Scott Walker in asking President Obama for
federal flood relief.
Congressman Ron Kind .
along with Wisconsin's other members of the House
of Representatives and Senators Ron Johnson and Tammy
are asking the president to provide extra assistance
following last month's floods.
Heavy rains and flash flooding left a dozen Wisconsin
counties in a state of emergency .
and caused more than 11-million dollars in damage
to roads and infrastructure.
A presidential disaster declaration would pave the
way for FEMA to help local governments pay for repairs.
