There are new developments in the situation involving two City of La Crosse employees who've been on paid administrative leave for more than six months.

Late this afternoon, the attorney for one of the employees, Assistant City Attorney Peter Kisken filed a retaliation complaint with Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development.

Kisken's attorney says the complaint is being filed for a series of actions detrimental to Kisken's employment and his ability to perform his job for the taxpayers. Kisken and Community Development Administrator Liana Escott were escorted from city hall on May 25.

According to Kisken's attorney, city officials have not yet told either employee why they've been put on leave.
