One of the city of La Crosse employees put on paid administrative leave more than seven months ago is resigning.
Liana Escott is the former Community Development Administrator with the city's Planning Department.
She tells News 8 she submitted her resignation earlier this week.
Escott tells us she was not allowed legal representation, and that her attorney was not allowed to attend a meeting with city officials earlier this week.
Escott and Assistant City Attorney Pete Kisken were escorted from City Hall in May.
The city refuses to comment on the reason why they were put on leave, or why it's taking so long to complete the investigation.
Meanwhile, the city has paid Escott and Kisken more than $84,000 dollars total while on leave.
