CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (AP) -

Cedar Rapids police are looking for a 20-year-old man who escaped from Delaware County Jail in Manchester.

Authorities say 20-year-old Timothy Reynolds assaulted a jailer and stole his sport utility vehicle during an escape about 12:15 p.m. Sunday.

The vehicle was found around 3 p.m. in Cedar Rapids. Police say Reynolds has ties to Cedar Rapids and Chicago.

Cedar Rapids police Lt. Joe Clark said early Monday morning that his officers hadn't found Reynolds yet and that, near as he knew, Reynolds was still loose.

Reynolds was being held on robbery, assault, weapons and other charges.
