BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis. -- Two Wisconsin inmates that were the focus of a week long manhunt that ended in Florida will face charges when they return here.

Jackson County says they are pursuing charges related to stolen vehicles and kidnapping for James Newman and James Misleveck.

The Monroe County district attorney says they will also likely pursue charges of vehicle theft and fleeing an officer.

The two men walked away from the Black River Correctional Center July 17th and went on an alleged crime spree that included car and weapon theft, kidnapping and assault.

Both men appeared in a Florida courtroom Thursday and decided not to fight extradition back to Wisconsin.

The men face several charges in Florida and those will have to be resolved before the men can be sent back.

No court dates have been set in Florida so there is no timetable for their return.
