The future of Wisconsin's Thunder on the Lakeshore air show is in question with organizer Curt Drumm closing his business at the Manitowoc County Airport.
HTR Media reports Lakeshore Aviation is closing Nov. 30 because of a significant drop in jet fuel sales. The drop came after one company stopped flying two jets, and a second company moved its plane to Sheboygan County Airport.
Drumm says those changes almost eliminated his fuel sales.
Manitowoc County Executive Bob Ziegelbauer says fuel and other services will still be offered at the airport and he expects the county will seek another provider to handle that.
Drumm says the future of the Thunder on the Lakeshore air show hasn't been decided. The show is typically held each June at the airport.
