MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Major League Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig is slated to deliver an April 10 lecture at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
The title of his lecture is "Talking Baseball: The Challenges of Communicating in Turbulent Times."
Selig graduated with a degree in history and political science from UW-Madison in 1956. He is the former owner of the Milwaukee Brewers and has served as baseball commissioner since 1992.
Selig served as acting baseball commissioner from 1992 until 1998 when he got the position outright.
The 77-year-old Selig plans to return to campus after he retires in 2014 to write his memoirs.
