GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -

A Brown County sheriff's official describes the storm that hit central and northeastern Wisconsin as devastating.

Lt. Kevin Wickman says straight line winds of about 80 mph destroyed storage sheds and took down trees and power poles.

He says one house was blown off its foundation and a roof was torn off a convenience store.

He says deputies even found the top of silo in a road Wednesday and didn't know where it belonged.

Some large trees also came down at a campground, but no one was injured.

Wisconsin Emergency Management also reported significant crop damage in the county, with damaged barns, garages and one home that appeared destroyed.
