Brockmiller wins, Sebranek and Flood lose in La Crosse Co. Board primaries

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- Voters decide who is moving on to the April 3 general election from three newly-drawn La Crosse County Board districts.

In District 11, current supervisor Bill Brockmiller received the most votes with 137, followed by 68 votes for James Grenisen, vice president of the group Citizens for Responsible Government. Current district 12 supervisor Bridget Flood was third with  61 votes.

In District 12, Dave Holtze (240 votes) and Andrew Matz (79 votes) outpaced current District 16 supervisor Gerald Sebranek (47 votes).

In District 28, three-term supervisor Robert Keil received the most votes (80), just ahead of attorney Bob Skemp (78 votes). West Salem Village Board member Scott Schumacher was third with 48 votes.

The top two candidates move on to the April 3 general election. Nineteen of the newly-drawn 29 supervisor seats are contested.
