LA CROSSE, Wis. -- -

Those already struggling to stick with their new year's fitness resolutions will soon have a new incentive to keep pushing forward.

The Biggest Health Challenge-La Crosse is set to start on Feb. 4.

It's an 8-week program put on by the La Crosse County Health Department.

There are weigh-ins and fitness and nutrition seminars throughout the challenge to encourage people to meet their health goals.

Organizers say it's a fun way to not only help you lose weight but learn how to live a health life.

"This is a great way to show how it can still be easy and it can work into our busy lives. Fitness can work. A lot of our presentations talk about busy lifestyles and how you can still fit in fitness and a lot of our cooking demonstrations are on how you can have home cooked meals and not spend a lot of time in the kitchen," said La Crosse County Health Department dietician Jennifer Miller.

People can participate for free or pay $10 to be entered to win the cash prize in the weight loss challenge.
