MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett says he has raised $750,000 in just 25 days as he attempts to win the Democratic primary in the governor's recall election.
And his chief Democratic rival Kathleen Falk says she raised $1 million since she got into the race in mid-January.
Both candidates announced their fundraising totals Friday in advance of Monday's deadline. Neither released how much cash on hand they had heading into the May 8 primary.
The latest report covers Jan. 1 through April 23. Falk got into the race on Jan. 18 and Barrett got in on March 30.
Secretary of State Doug La Follette and state Sen. Kathleen Vinehout are also running.
Walker reported in January that he had already raised more than $12 million to that point.
