NORTH LIBERTY, Iowa (AP) -

Authorities say two police officers have been wounded in a shooting in eastern Iowa.

Iowa Department of Public Safety spokeswoman Jessica Lown says the shooting happened Sunday night in North Liberty. She says the officers' injuries are not life-threatening.

Lown says preliminary information indicates the officers were responding to a domestic incident. Additional information about the shooting is not available.

Television station KCRG reports the shooting happened at a mobile home park in North Liberty. Police have set up a perimeter and media are being kept at a distance.

The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and Iowa State Patrol are assisting local authorities.

North Liberty is located about 10 miles north of Iowa City.
