The annual Trouble in Toyland report of dangerous toys is out.
Each year, the Wisconsin Public Interest Research Group finds toys that pass all federal safety guidelines, but may not be completely safe for your kids.
This year's list focuses on those with "near-small parts", magnets, are excessively noisy, or contain dangerous chemicals.
The list is released just in time for the holiday shopping season and health experts hope parents will be thoughtful with their gifts. "Purchasing toys that are appropriate things like keeping those lithium batteries out of reach, it really goes back to prevention and what can we do to make it safer for our kids so they can be healthy and safe," said Gundersen Lutheran Trauma & Injury Prevention Coordinator Kim Lombard.
