Festgoers will once again have a place to go downtown
to find help.
The Third Street Aid Station is returning for its
10th year at the corner of Third and Pearl Streets.
The station offers a place to charge cell phones .
ask for directions .
or get minor medical attention.
It can also serve as a meeting place between groups
of people that get separated during the Fest.
La Crosse Police say the aid station has been a big
success since it started ten years ago.
It's been a huge, huge effect on the community and
We've had hundreds of people every weekend utilize
it and and help out and obviously help with it and
everything and it is, there are a lot of people that
come through here needing the things that we provide.
The aid station won't be open tonight .
but will be open from 7 p-m to 3 a-m tomorrow night
and Saturday night.
