The Wisconsin Department of Justice has completed its review of an April arrest by a Green Bay police officer that prompted complaints of excessive force.
Press-Gazette Media reports police officials received the report Tuesday, but said it's too early to discuss the findings.
A video posted on YouTube shows Officer Derek Wicklund shoving a man against a parked car, throwing him to the ground and punching him. Wicklund has been moved to administrative duty during the state's review.
Green Bay police spokesman Lt. Jeff Brester could not say when the findings would be made public.
A DOJ spokeswoman says the department reviewed whether Wicklund's tactics were "consistent with basic preparatory academy training." She would not say what the review concluded.
