A couple of months ago we introduced you to a La Crosse
middle school student named Cody Davis.
Cody was diagnosed with a condition that causes permanent
visual impairment at a rapid pace.

Once word got out to our community.
people's compassion shined through.
and now months after his story aired.

Cody's step-dad works at 'agro-pour ingredients.'
Employees of the plant presented cody with a special
gift yesterday: more than four-thousand dollars to
help him cross things off his 'visual bucket list.'
CODY:It is more than I could ever epect.
JEREMY: It's amazing to have the community support
that we've gotten, especially from here.
One of the employees also donated tickets to a Chicago
Bears preseason game.
Other donations for cody's list have been coming in
from all over the world.
One of them was for more than 15-thousand dollars.
Cody has so far been able to visit Colorado and Florida.
