History is on display at La Crosse's Public Library.
National history day projects from area middle schoolers
are set up throughout the building.
There are exhibits.
documentaries and websites talking about the topics
the students have been researching all school year.
Some include women's rights.
the boycott of the Moscow olympics.
famous african american atheles.
and the berlin wall.
The librarians say some of the students went above
and beyond in putting together their reserach.
Some of these students have actually contacted famous
people that were part of the hsitorical project they're
researching and sent emails or done phone interviews.
There are one-thousand dollars in prizes up for grabs.
Part of the selection is through a people's choice
which goes for another week.
