2004: Record producer Phil Spector is charged with murder in the shooting death of Lana Clarkson at his mansion in 2003. A first trial would end in a mistrial because of a hung jury in 2007, but Spector would be convicted in 2009 of second-degree murder and sentenced to 19 years to life.
