1924: Actress Eva Marie Saint, known for movies such as "On the Waterfront," "North by Northwest," "Raintree County," "Exodus" and "Grand Prix," is born in Newark, N.J. Saint won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for 1954's "On the Waterfront."
