The La Crosse Promise organization is now under new
Margaret Dihlmann-Malzer and Ralph Heath were recently
named the new co-interim executive directors.
The two will lead the group .
while the search for a permanent executive director
continues after the sudden passing of Jerilyn Dinsmoor
Heath will focus on strategic planning and marketing
while Dihlmann-Malzer will head up day-to-day operations
of the organization .
which promises 50-thousand dollars in college scholarships
to families that move into eligible homes.
Heath says the duo will work hard over the next couple
months to keep Dinsmoor's vision going strong.
It's very important that we keep the energy and the
enthusiasm that Jerliyn started and we want to try
and keep all of the things going, all of the balls
in the air if you will.
The La Crosse Promise hopes to have a new executive
director in place by the start of the new year.
