LA CROSSE, Wis. -

A new collaborative exhibition called, "All Fired Up" will display the history of fire-fighting in La Crosse.

The exhibit, which is a collaboration between the La Crosse County Historical Society and the La Crosse City Fire Department, will show old vehicles, gear and tools used throughout the years as part of a display. There will also be a tribute to local heroes as part of the exhibit.

The exhibit opens at the Swarthout Museum, 119 S. 9th St. in La Crosse, on April 6. There will be a public reception on April 5 from 5-8 p.m. This will be the last exhibit that the La Crosse County Historical Society.

Museum hours: Tuesday-Saturday 10 a.m. -5 p.m.; Sundays 1-5 p.m.
