1975: Model Niki Taylor, whose first magazine cover was an 1989 issue of Seventeen at the age of 14, is born in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. In 1992, she became the first spokesmodel under the age of 18 to sign a major contract with CoverGirl. Some of her other ad campaigns have been for Liz Claiborne, Nokia, Ellen Tracy, L'Oréal, Gap, Lee Jeans and Pantene.
