1982: Actor and singer Adam Lambert, who rose to fame after finishing as runner-up on the eighth season of "American Idol," is born in Indianapolis, Ind. His debut studio album, 2009's "For Your Entertainment," debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart and featured the singles "For Your Entertainment," "Whataya Want from Me" and "If I Had You."
