1971: Actor Jeremy Renner, an Academy Award-nominee for "The Hurt Locker" and "The Town," is born in Modesto, Calif. Renner is also known for his roles in "Marvel's The Avengers," "Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol" and "The Bourne Legacy."
