2008: Actress and singer Eartha Kitt, best known for playing Catwoman on the final season of the 1960s "Batman" TV series, dies of colon cancer at the age of 81 in Weston, Conn. She's also remembered for her 1953 hit recordings of "C'est Si Bon" and the enduring Christmas novelty smash "Santa Baby."
