1969: Meredith Hunter is killed by the Hells Angels during a The Rolling Stones' concert at the Altamont Speedway in California. The stabbing is caught on film by cameraman Baird Bryant, filming the concert for documentary filmmakers Albert and David Maysles, and released a year later as part of the film "Gimme Shelter," documenting the band's 1969 U.S. tour.
