1960: The musical "Camelot," based on the King Arthur legend and starring Julie Andrews, Richard Burton, Roddy McDowall and Robert Goulet, debuts at the Majestic Theatre on Broadway. It would win four Tony Awards and the original cast album would be America's top-selling album for 60 weeks.
