1959: "Twenty One" game show contestant Charles Van Doren admits to the House Subcommittee on Legislative Oversight that he had been given questions and answers in advance. Van Doren had been made famous by a winning streak over several months on the game show in early 1957 that ultimately earned him more than $129,000.
