Who is the Prophet Mohammed?
Recent protests in Libya, Cairo and Yemen have shined a light on Muslim sensitivities surrounding the Prophet Mohammed. Find out who more about the Prophet and why this is not the first time anti-Islam incidents involving Mohammed have spawned death and violence.
In April 2010, South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker were warned about their depiction of Mohammed in the 200th episode of the animated series. A caricatured version of the prophet, wearing a bear suit, was seen as offensive to Muslims. The episode was censored by Comedy Central. The network bleeped out Mohammed's name and censored the character with a black box.
