A 22-year-old man made a short-lived escape from a Texas detention center Monday night.

Officials with the Bexar County Sheriff's Office and detention center said Adam Novodvorschi used bedsheets to crawl out of a window on the east side of the jail near the railroad tracks around 10:30 p.m. Monday.
Officials said Novodvorschi made it as far as the downtown Greyhound bus station located a little more than a mile away on North St. Mary's and East Martin streets.
San Antonio police spotted Novodvorschi and immediately took him back into custody.
Officials said he was initially charged with aggravated robbery, but is now facing a third-degree felony for escape from a jail facility. Novodvorschi's bond was set at $50,000.
