Pet of the Week - Maeve

Meet Maeve! Maeve is an adult, female guinea pig looking for the perfect guinea pig loving home! She is super sweet and her friendly nature will win you over right away. She enjoys spending time with her loved ones and is very easy to handle! She is anxiously awaiting the perfect forever home and can't wait to be your new best friend! Maeve will need daily play time outside of her kennel.  It is important for guinea pigs to be able to stretch their little legs and receive exercise.  She will also need a daily diet of veggies, fruit, and timothy hay. The housing unit for a guinea pig needs to be cleaned daily and should be large enough for them to receive minimal exercise and options for hiding and resting spaces. The life expectancy for a guinea pig, assuming proper vet care, diet, and overall daily care is provided, is 5—7 years.  Guinea pigs also enjoy having same sex companions.
