LA CROSSE, Wis. -

If there's one positive to take away from the lingering Winter, it's a delay to allergy season.

At this time last year, Allergy Associates of La Crosse was finding high levels of pollen in the air. But with all of the snow this year, it's been tough to start testing and even more difficult to make predictions.

"As you can see we have plenty of snow on the ground, as a result we don't have much pollen at all, so the pollen count won't start until about April or so when the tree's start blooming," said Benoit Tano of Allergy Associates.

The allergy expert says once pollen starts popping up, grass and mold allergens will quickly follow.
