They're banned in other countries, but these 13 food ingredients are still allowed in the U.S.
1. Arsenic -- The FDA permits arsenic in chicken feed to promote growth boost pigmentation in poultry meat. However, the European Union has outlawed its use since 1999, according to the Caltons, and the Environmental Protection Agency classifies inorganic arsenic as a "human carcinogen."
