Country singer Craig Morgan and actor John Malkovich are the latest stars to join the elite squad of celebrities who save.
Both stars spontaneously jumped in to aid those in need recently, with Morgan's training as an EMT coming in particularly handy on Sunday.
Around 11:15 a.m., the country star came across a highway crash in Humphreys County, Tenn., that involved three tractor trailers. According to CNN affiliate WTVF, Morgan was on his way back from a performance in Texas when the crash happened just a quarter of a mile from his bus.
Morgan rushed to the scene along with two other crew members, and got to work putting out a small fire, taking care of the drivers and helping out the first responders.
Humphreys County Sheriff Chris Davis commended Morgan for doing "exactly what he had been taught to do and was a huge help. This is just another example of the kind of guy he is, he loves doing things for others."
Actor Malkovich is also "that kind of guy," as he rushed to the side of a man who'd fallen in a Toronto street last Thursday.
According to ABC News, the Ohio-based gentleman and his wife were returning to their hotel after dinner when the man stubbed his toe and fell. The 77-year-old hit his neck on a scaffolding pole on the way down, causing a large amount of bleeding that left his wife, a trained nurse, so shaken she couldn't think of what to do.
But Malkovich, along with restaurateur Ben Quinn, stepped in to help, applying pressure to the wound and keeping the couple calm until paramedics came. According to CTV News, the actor is performing in Toronto as part of the stage production of "The Giacomo Variations."
Malkovich and Morgan are the latest stars who've come to the rescue of everyday folk - Dustin Hoffman, Kate Winslet, Ryan Gosling and Patrick Dempsey are also a few celebs you'd want to have around in your time of need.
