Mickey Rourke, who would go on to earn an Oscar nomination for 2008's "The Wrestler," was arrested in July 1994 after allegedly slapping and kicking his wife, Carre Otis, in Los Angeles. Prosecutors dropped the charges after Otis failed to appear in court to testify.
